Our History

The best things are born from despair, complete loss, and personal suffering, but when your born with a mental health issue or possibly suffered from a tragedy that shattered your mental health not many people can see or understand that. Millions suffer in silence, cry uncontrollably at night, abuse substances or worse attempt to take their own life. At times mental health is looked at like a disease or a problem, even something just to be swept under the rug or shrugged off with a word or two, sure there's plenty of help and services out there but you don't see anyone walking around with their issue on their back.
We want to show awareness through our one of a kind design artwork. We want to bring people together simply by wearing a shirt and if we can just affect one person for the better while at the same time donating to a good cause than we'll do just that.
-A SHORT STORY-
 A woman was purchasing a few items from a local gas station. No one knew that she was buying her favorite food items to eat later that evening as a "Last Meal", for weeks she was suffering from depression because her boyfriend had broken up with her. So she felt like she had nothing to live for an was going to take her own life. Until while opening the fridge door at the gas station an grabbing a drink she turned and saw a couple kids talking about a band that was playing in their town next month. One of the kids turned an pointed to the band on his shirt while referencing something the woman could not hear. The woman saw the band's name on the kid's shirt & it was her ex-boyfriend's favorite band. The woman started to cry, as she finished buying her food an proceeded to walk home. It was raining... When she got home the woman rushed to her bedroom committed to eating her favorite snacks an ending it all. She put on the band that was on the shirt from the kid from the gas station was wearing. As the music played an she started eating her favorite food Still.... she thought about her ex-boyfriend, sobbing in tears, she couldn't take the pain from losing him anymore. She thought to herself: No One Understands, He Doesn't Love Me, Why Did He Leave. A 1000 thoughts raced through her mind, grabbing a razorblade the woman was ready to end her life just as the music playing changes to a new song... It was "Their" song. She again, thought back to the kid wearing the shirt, the kid was so excited to see that band. Still in tears the woman decides to grab her cell phone an call her ex-boyfriend. The boyfriend answered:

"What do you want"

She replied: "I know we're not together anymore but I miss you..."

"He replied: "We're done, ******** why can't you get that through your head"?

Crying.... She replied: "I get that, I just wanted to let you know about your favorite band that was going to play next month."
He didn't know about the band but could tell in her voice something was wrong.
She replied again: "Ok, I'm sorry to bother you, I'll go"
In Mumbled tones the boyfriend says: "No, wait. Maybe we can talk"
She replied: "Ok, I'll get my jacket on an come over..."
The woman hung up the phone an set the razor down on her nightstand. An quietly got her jacket on, feeling emotionally numb still eating her favorite chips she smiled an proceeded to go see her ex-boyfriend thinking about what she had almost done....
"WE DON'T KNOW IF THE WOMAN EVER GOT BACK WITH HIM"

THE MORAL OF THE STORY:
Seeing something random on someone's shirt is not random to everybody. In that moment, it probably saved her life we like to think that the woman got the help she so desperately needed.
